Belittle, be little, be petty, be small

emotional self respect
Next time you think about putting someone down, just know that you speak from a place much lower than the person you’re belittling and everyone sees it, but you.

~that’s a little tip…for you 🙂

  1. I have been surprised lately by how much some people seem to enjoy belittling others. But you them hit back with truth…and they claim to be a victim of abuse. You can’t reason with people like that, but you can hope that someday they will find something to feel good about, besides the misfortune of others. Perhaps they should start with themselves and find something about themselves that they can like and be proud of. Then maybe they will realize that what they’re doing, isn’t part of living a healthy and fulfilled life. Until then the best any of us can do is shine a light into their darkness and try to make them open their eyes to how ugly they’re being.
