more advice on Facebook (and other social media) trolls

Occasionally you might see someone misbehaving on Facebook. They could be posting pornographic pictures, bullying someone or simply being an ornery troll. You have the ability to report their behavior to Facebook and it’s all anonymous. The person will never know you reported them, unless you tell them you did it.

One thing you will never want to do, is try to handle ityourself by engaging them. Once you engage a troll, you’ll find they have a nasty bite and can leave a mark. Besides those types of folks will never listen to reason or back down. They might even threaten to hurt you.

Just quietly report them to Facebook and keep reporting them. You can also block them so you never have to see their posts again.

Be safe out there and remember that trolls are nasty, smelly creatures, unless they’re animated Disney cartoons like Shrek…and even he was smelly. 🙂
