whatcha thinkin’?

fish

Someone told me once “People don’t always need to know what I’m thinking!” and I think this is a great attitude, as long as you’ve prepared yourself accordingly.

Never expect anything to change, because it won’t as long as no one knows what you’re thinking.

Be prepared for things to get worse, instead of better, because they won’t get better if no one knows what you’re thinking.

Know in advance that some folks will take their leave of you without hesitation, because they won’t know what you’re thinking.

Others will make assumptions about you that are incorrect, if you take no measures to set boundaries by letting people know what you’re thinking and see that some things are simply not okay to assume.

Guess what I’m thinking. 🙂

😉 I try to assume nothing, as, when I do, I’m too often wrong. Which causes turmoil, unrest, confusion, hurt feelings, younameit. I have a fairly good idea what you’re thinking, though. ❤
