don’t point your cell phone at me, without asking first

It seems these days, no one thinks twice about taking your picture with their damn cell phone. I don’t like it. It’s not even about vanity, it’s about respect for another person’s privacy. I wouldn’t do it to you, so don’t do it to me.

If you’re going to take “candid” shots, that’s fine, but let everyone know that you’re taking them. Don’t take pictures of your friends if they are unaware you’re taking them, and then post them all over Facebook. That’s a great way to really piss someone off.

Your cell phone is not a free pass to document the private moments in my life without my permission.
