I must say…I really like this company and the way they do business. I got my first chuckle upon hearing the Hold introduction, which promises that they won’t share your call with the NSA. From the company that wants to put a little funk in your step, Sanuks lives up to it’s promise to make sure you’re a happy customer.
Back in May of 2014 I was totally frustrated with my husband’s Sanuks. He was on his second pair in less than five months and they were already falling apart. I had no idea what to do and I was weary of returning them as defective. I wrote to the company and followed up with a phone call a few days later.
It was some of the best customer service I have ever received.
First we discussed what was happening to the shoes and which style they were. After some discussion the conclusion was reached that perhaps my husband just could not wear shoes made of Hemp. It could be the way he wears shoes, or his body chemistry, but whichever it was, Hemp shoes and him do not agree with each other.
Not to worry, they had many other styles and materials to choose from.
The customer service agent I spoke with sent a personal email with his own recommendations, refunded the full amount of my original purchase, added a Call Tag so I didn’t have to pay to ship the defective pair back to them. He was an absolute pleasure to do business with.
When I was ready to purchase a replacement pair I called again.
I was fortunate to get another well informed and helpful customer Service rep to help me place my order. She and I perused what was available that wasn’t Hemp based and I was able to place my order, even before the old pair had arrived at their warehouse for returns processing. The new pair was $5 cheaper than the first pair and they reimbursed me the $5 too!
Can you believe it?!
Sanuks is a company that ROCKS!!! I love them!
My husband will always have his toes in a pair of Sanuks from now until forever.
