I saw this meme on Facebook and it struck such a chord with me that I wanted to share it with you. I actually learned something about myself and that is that I actually do all of the things on the green, successful side, except for the To Be List. I also do some of the things on the yellow unsuccessful side. I can be critical sometimes. I absolutely hold grudges. Sometimes I fly by the seat of my pants and I watch tv everyday, except when I’m on assignment working. When I am in the field working I don’t watch tv at all. I’m not sure if that means anything, or not.
Rather than use this meme as a way of feeling superior about myself in comparison to others, which is sometimes the intent of memes like this one, I will use this more to improve the parts of the yellow side that I see in myself. I will also strive to be 100% on the green side, but with the knowledge that it’s okay to slide over to the yellow side occasionally. As long as you’re aware, you’re doing okay.
Yeah, I keep seeing this pop up as well. Everything seems to be “mush” lately. This gray area that my feet have been wading in looks like pea soup; it’s what happens when these qualities blend and mismatch! Ah! The funks and humps that we have to climb up through and crawl over.
This is definitely a good reminder and inspiration. Cheers!

What is a “To Be” list? Like, To be more compassionate. To Be more generous? To Be a better person?

I think a To Be List is about aspiration, maybe? To be, or not to be 🙂 Too Bee or not too Bee 🙂

Hoo, boy. I see 3 things in the yellow that could use some of my attention: flying by the seat of my pants, not knowing what I want to be and not setting goals. They’re somewhat tied together, hmm? I also see some others who live on the yellow side 24/7. They cannot be helped, sadly. They cannot even see the green side. And never will.

Very true!
I stopped worrying about those people for now. 🙂

I like, “Watch TV everyday”. That was my main hobby when I was younger and depressed. Television is so full of characters celebrated for being on the green side, I can hardly watch it anymore.
The “To be” list is a great idea.

Great stuff!!! I think I’m going to do a blog post each week this year about improving life. I see books about this all the time. So this year each week I will pick something we can all do and write about how it might improve our lives and see how that goes for the readers and also for me. I’m looking forward to it!!
