Is life really easier when we “don’t understand,” or are we better off knowing and recognizing the patterns that will guide us in avoiding being hurt or used? Sure, our innocence is gone. But having the good sense to identify sociopaths, narcissists, bullies and users can help us navigate life more wisely, imo.

I believe there’s a beauty in living innocently, unaware of the “dark sides” of the others, but there’s also so much light, courage and inner strength in the wisdom of choosing right from wrong, trough it’s own values. Thank you, Madeline, for writing the way you do, for sharing the beauty of your articles, bringing hope and wisdom to all who read.
I also wanted to thank you for following my blog, I’m honored and I’m looking forward to read more of your writings.
There truly is a beauty in living with innocence and hope. Once life slams us with a nasty turn, it’s hard to get back to that, but it is something to definitely strive for. Best to you as well Carissa. Thank you. 🙂
