intuition

Never trust your first impression, but always trust your intuition.

First impressions can be loaded with strife or honeymoon bliss, but my intuition, like yours, is rock solid, direct and honest and it is rarely wrong.

  1. Human says:

All of us are not so lucky to have an intuition that is dependable. Our perceptions are heavily biased and they can present us with the thing we sub-consciously fear, as well as the thing we hope for. Especially for people who have a dysfunctional family background; who have not had the good fortune to internalize a healthy sense of “normal” while growing up, the intuitive ability to judge the character of another person is likely to be deficient. However, there is still plenty of hope for anyone who identifies with that dismal description. Learning about personality disorders and understanding our own experiences raises our awareness and, one might say, heightens our intuition; improving our chances of reacting appropriately and making healthy, self-preserving choices when a toxic personality type is encountered.

I, for one, cannot trust my intuition. But, it’s getting better…
