keeping track of the days

For those of you not keeping track…today is Saturday, the week’s end. Saturday and Sunday are called week*ends*, even though, technically, Sunday is the beginning of the week and not a weekend day at all. It’s just one of those things we say, even though it’s totally incorrect.

Which brings me to the reason for this post.

There are many more examples in life of the insignificant details we all let continually slide just because everybody else lets them slide too. So I challenge you to start thinking for yourself and deciding what you think is worth following and honoring, rather than doing the same thing everyone else does.

It is, after all, YOUR life. While you are able to think for yourself and make your own decisions, honor yourself by exercising your right to be. My new week starts today folks and it will make Monday seem that much sweeter because it’s another day I can fill with original thoughts to share with all of you.

When you think about it, knowing Sunday starts my week means Monday isn’t a day to be dreaded anymore. In fact, the only day I think I’ll dread will be the one that I no longer have.
