I believe in L O V E

I had the privilege recently of spending some time with a beautiful young girl that is starting a new chapter in her life. She told me one day “My aunt says I should only date boys that have a college education.” I thought this was odd advice so I asked her “And where did your aunt go to college?” She looked up and said, “She didn’t go to college.”

The word “should” is defined as a word used to criticize another person’s behavior. When you tell someone they “should“…you “should” be able to back it up. Because why “should” this young girl take advice about dating boys with a college education from a woman with no college education of her own?

People in glass houses….SHOULD not throw stones.

I told her to date for fun and for love and forget the rest.

People that date based on resumes miss out on a lot of the good stuff life offers.

I believe in Love. ❤
