when it Rains

Joyful abandon!

Joyful abandon!

Hello everyone out there in the Universe! With the holidays quickly approaching, I just want to be able to give you a few thoughts to carry with you when those days get a little cloudy.

There is something I think we could all benefit from knowing about life, and here is a bit of it.

The things you go through, especially the rough patches in life, can teach us so much abut ourselves, and about how strong we have the ability of being. No matter what happens, or how difficult it is when we are going through it, we can get through it, and gain that valuable life experience to know what not to do the next time.

Think of it like a piggy bank. You are saving up all of this knowledge, so that your future can be happier, healthier and fulfilling in ways that might not be possible yet. Save it up! Save it so that when the rainy day comes again, and it will, you’ll already know that you need to carry an umbrella to keep from getting soaked, or you can dance with joyful abandon in the puddles it makes because you already know that nothing can touch you, unless you allow it to.

This is Madeline Laughs and I am here to remind you that life, and everything it brings to the table, is definitely the best dinner guest you can ever have. Bon appetit!

    • I used to ignore these lessons when they were happening to me, and like always, I was doomed to keep repeating them. Now I pay attention. I can guess this comes with age and maturity, or maybe getting burned so many times, but I feel it’s my duty in life to perhaps help a young one along. Maybe some of them are out there listening to me and knowing they can definitely learn something good from my mistakes.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit on the old blog today, Deb ❤

You are so right! I have learned so much through our troubles, I am stronger than I’ve ever been. I cannot wait to dance in the puddles, across the streams and skip like stones across the lake! I have umbrellas to share, if you ever need one I got you covered! xx

  4. I haven’t officially made any announcements, but I have my own domain now. 🙂 I was changing up the theme and trying to figure out how to get the banner back up. I think it adds a lot of flair to the front page. Don’t you agree? ❤️❤️

I think it's so nice to see your thoughts! Please share!
