Take a bow, my friends! *clapping loudly with love*

This post (and every post, really) is dedicated to the people in my life that consistently show me every single day of the year what it means to be a caring and loving human being.

I love my family! You guys have always had my back, even when I was living far away. You never let me feel left out or forgotten or inconvenient and that’s a lot for anyone to manage, but you did it. You guys are simply the best.

To the friends that lifted me up during the holidays and proved that all I really needed was to be hugged and those awesome hugs made everything so much better. You show up and you smile and that makes my whole day feel pretty special. I love my friends and I think I have some of the best ones on Earth.

To the new and old friends that stop here every day and read whatever patter I tend to pluck out on my keyboard, I am eternally grateful for you. You show you’ve been here with a Like or a Comment and I read each one and feel like what I’m saying might have worth to someone.

That’s what life is all about; family, friends and friends you haven’t met yet.

Life is about people.

To everyone in my life, I bow to you and stand in an singular, yet powerful ovation paying tribute, because all of you make me the person that I am, and that is a good thing.

Thank you! ❤

    Dang, I love this!

Trying to dwell in a state of gratitude has been my mantra of late. I have so much to be thankful for, and I sometimes struggle with where to direct it: Karma? Mother Nature? the “Gods”? Kismet? the Universe? So I focus on the feelings I have when I’m grateful for the people and circumstances that surround me and hope that energy emanates out from my being to others.

I found a little sumpthin I want to share here with you and your readers. ❤

    ~ Be Thankful ~

Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don’t know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
    During those times you grow.

    Be thankful for your limitations
Because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge
Because it will build your strength and character.

    Be thankful for your mistakes
They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you’re tired and weary
Because it means you’ve made a difference.

It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are
    also thankful for the setbacks.

GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles
and they can become your blessings.
